Enjoy Great Music at St George’s Hall this Spring!

From rock and pop to brass, Motown and folk, there are plenty of music concerts to enjoy at St George’s Hall, Bradford over the coming months.

Paying tribute to its favourite rock heroes The Classic Rock Show comes to St George's Hall on Saturday 11 March

This fantastic group of musicians thunder their way through legendary performances from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits, The Who, Eric Clapton, AC/DC, Queen, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and many more. Performed with note-for-note precision, bringing the original iconic and era defining recordings back to life on stage, with an amazing sound and light show to match. 

Anthem after anthem, riff after riff and solo after solo, the evening culminates in a show-stopping guitar duel. 

The hugely popular Black Dyke Band makes a welcome return to St George’s Hall on Friday 24 March.

The most recorded band in the world, they have over 350 recordings and growing every year. In October 2021 the band’s recording of music by John Rutter become the first by a brass band to reach No.1 in the classical music chart. 

The Black Dyke Band is also the most successful contesting band in the world having won the European Championships 13 times, the British Open no fewer than 30 times and the National Championships of Great Britain 23 times. In recent years, the band secured an unprecedented hat-trick of wins at the Yorkshire regional championships in 2016, 17 and 18, which they followed up with further wins in 2020 and 2022. 

Formed in 1973 in Leicester from several local bands, Showaddywaddy have sold more than 20 million records and have toured all corners of the World extensively. They make a welcome return to Bradford on Saturday 25 March

This, their 50th Anniversary Concert, will be a dynamic and uplifting show featuring their greatest hits, including Under The Moon of Love, Three Steps to Heaven, Hey Rock & Roll, When, Blue Moon, Pretty Little Angel Eyes and many, many more. 

On Saturday 1 April music icon Paul Young bring his concert Behind The Lens to St George’s Hall. 

Paul Young broke into the big time 40 years ago when No Parlez went to number one and spawned iconic hits like Wherever I Lay My Hat (That’s My Home). More success followed with the number one album The Secret Of Association and the worldwide hit Everytime You Go Away, not forgetting an appearance at Live Aid and more. 

Now, on the 40th anniversary of No Parlez, he is releasing a new record and publishing his extraordinary memoir; both called Behind The Lens. During this wonderful evening, Paul Young will sing his tracks and share the stories behind them. 

Seen by over a million people since its debut in 2005, The Magic of Motown is one of the biggest success stories in British theatre history. 

At St George’s Hall on Saturday 15 April, this breath-taking live concert spectacular is packed with the iconic Motown hits from artists such as, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Supremes, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, The Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson, and many more. 

As well as outstanding musicianship the show features glittering costumes and dazzling dance routines. This is a tribute show and is no way affiliated with any original artists/estates/management companies or similar shows. 

The ultimate feel good Irish show, Seven Drunken Nights - The Story of the Dubliners, makes a welcome return to St George's Hall on Tuesday 25 April

In partnership with Tourism Ireland and in association with legendary Irish pub O’Donoghue’s, Seven Drunken Nights tells the story of a career spanning 50 years and invokes the spirit of Ronnie Drew, Luke Kelly, Barney McKenna, John Sheahan, Ciaran Bourke and Jim McCann. 

This hugely talented cast of musicians and singers bring the music of this iconic group back to life.
