In 2018, Ray Bradshaw broke new ground in the comedy world by becoming the first comedian to perform simultaneously in English and in sign language with his show Deaf Comedy Fam. Ray was also the first comedian to ever win a Scottish Culture Award and is a regular host of Scotland’s most popular radio show, Breaking The News.
Fresh from touring the UK as the handpicked support act for John Bishop, Ray is back with his new show Deaf Com 1, where he delves into his recent fatherhood and his experience of teaching his son sign language, all told in his clever, charming and very funny style.
Ray is a CODA (child of deaf adults) and all of his shows are performed in both BSL and English. He has received acclaim from both critics and fans alike for his hilarious tales that are also full of heart.
