Planning Your Visit - The Studio

Important Notice for your visit to The Studio

Due to regeneration work happening in Bradford, there are roadworks affecting many major routes into the city. If travelling by car, please allow enough time for your journey. You can find live information about congestion and road closures via the Causeway website, and you can find details of Bradford Council’s key transport projects and major public space enhancements at Future Bradford.

Directions

The Studio is adjacent to the Alhambra Theatre in the centre of Bradford. The entrance to The Studio is on Great Horton Road. It is a short walk from the Interchange train and bus station, Forster Square train station and from bus stops on Centenary Square.

To find out about train and bus times, please go to West Yorkshire Metro or Trainline.

For driving directions, put our postcode BD7 1AJ into your Sat Nav or into a route planner or on the web at RAC Route Planner or into the AA Route Finder.

Parking

There are several car parks in the city centre within close walking distance. These include The Broadway Shopping Centre; Crown Court; Jacob's Well; Kirkgate Shopping Centre (daytime only); Leisure Exchange; NCP Southgate; Oastler Centre; Sharpe Street (behind the National Science & Media Museum).

Please note: NCP Southgate (BD1 2AP) operates a discounted voucher scheme for matinee performances, subject to availability. Ask for a parking voucher on arrival at the theatre.

The car parks in the city centre can be very busy during the daytime - please allow extra time to make your journey to the venue. You can find further information on the Bradford Council website.

Access to disabled parking on Morley Street, for Blue Badge holders only, is available via Great Horton Road. There is a bollard system which will check your Blue Badge and allow access round the front of the Alhambra Theatre to the parking bays on Morley Street. Cars may drop off customers outside of the entrance to The Studio, but must park on Morley Street.
